In my view,i think it would be kevin pietersen .pietersen has more potential than hussey and moreover he is young than hussey.In australia there are several great players and everybody knows their responsibility so hussey gets batting very less whereas pietersen handles more responsibility for England and he also bats at the top of the order.I think at the end of pietersen's cricketing carrier he would in the league of great cricketers.About hussey ,my advise to australia is that they should try him little up the order.

I think Kevin Pietersen will prevail as a better player coz he is in an England side where not a lot of players can boast of greatness and he is carrying a team along with Flintoff and Collingwood mostly when everybody else seems to be out of sync. Plus he has more opportunity coming in at 4, 5 or 6 in ODIs and upper middle order in Tests. He is also a part time handy bowler. And definitely will last much longer than Mike Hussey. Hussey is usually sent in as a finisher in ODIs taking on the role of Bevan. His averages in both forms of the games are phenomenal specially in tests where he is only behind Bradman. But over the long term Pietersen will prevail in greatness. Both are dynamic and have the firepower to destroy oppositions. But Australia have great batsmen who come high up the order and usually take care of proceedings before getting to Hussey. This tends to undermine the usability of Hussey. Pietersen has an age advantage of 5-6 years.

Michael Hussey has more potential than Kevin and I am sure as he will gain international exposure he will shine even more. His present records are admirable and as the time passes by there will be definite improvement in that.

KP, even though they are both great players I think KP will be greater as he is still young and has plenty of time and plenty of passion left for the future and Hussey at 32 doesn't really have time on his side!
