I love going to the presentations, you get tons of free stuff, but I've never bought. When you first get there let them know you aren't going to buy. When they getting done with their sh-pill and start pushing tell them that you plan on buying a timeshare in the future, but right now you have a lot of bills, medical, student loans whatever, that you need to pay first. Get there card and tell them that when you are ready to buy you'll give them a call. When they get there supervisor to come talk to you tell him "I just to .... I will be buying one in the future, but I can't right now" Just say no, don't give in.
Good Luck

Let your body language do the talking. Avoid eye contact as much as possible. Take reading material. You have to be there but that hardly means you have to play their game. Most people are smart enough to know when you're uninterested and want to avoid wasting their time with you that being the case.
I've actually done this before, with a timeshare presentation, and they pretty much leave you alone. First chance, ask where the bathroom is and disappear.

from my experience they are VERY pushy and it is soooo hard to say no. The best thing to say is "I have found your presentation very informative, let me take the time to discuss this with my husband and why dont u give us a call back to further discuss this tomorrow" Then just dont answer your cell phone! Seriously it is soooo hard to say no bc they have a rebuttal for everything but thats the best solution by far.

The pressure to purchase is very high. Simply ask for a copy of the purchase agreement for your review 'overnight'. If they refuse to give you such a copy, smile and walk away. If they give you a copy, do the same.....If you get a copy, go back to your room, shred the offer to purchase, and don't say anything to them other than "Thanks, but I decided I'm not at interested in your offer."

Just tell them you have no money! You cannot participate in a timeshare with no money.

Well, lets see... How about just saying "No, we are not interested."
When they ask you why you are not interested, you say: "I do not feel I need to explain myself."
If they are pushy, you have the right to be "not nice." Why would you care if they think you are not nice?

Just leave your checkbook at home when you go to the presentation; take $100 for emergencies, and don't sign ANYTHING.
