Someone once gave me an avacado peeler. This was a curved piece of metal on a handle that allowed you to scoop out the fruit after you had cut it in half. If all avocados were exactly the same size and shape, it might have worked. But then again, what's wrong with using a spoon?

A spork. I mean the idea behind combining a spoon and a fork seems to be a good one but there's no way you could replace either by making a combination, especially when it comes to dinner etiquette. Aside from that, when you're eating soup you wouldn't want some prongs stabbing your lips. And when you're eating steak you don't want short little prongs trying to keep it on there long enough to get it to your mouth.
