Unfortunately, it isn't like Paris, which as everyone knows, is in Texas, or Cairo, which is in Illinois. There are tons of Crystal Lakes.
There are 15 in Michigan alone, two in Oakland County. Isn't that confusing?

There are lakes called Crystal Lake and cities called Crystal Lake. Canada seems to have their act together, with only one tow by that name, in Ontario province.

There is also the fictional Crystal Lake, where the Friday the 13th movies take place. You probably don't want to swim there, though.

Crystal Lake is also in Michigan . It is made up of several lakes. There is a also a Crystal Lake Cave in Dubuque, Iowa. You can view the cave online.

ther is atown in northern illinois called crystal lake after the nearby lake of the same name.
