yea... sometimes i will be in a public place and I'll be talking on the phone really loudly... I can see by the look on other people's faces that I am irritating them

Well, if I don't know them, I don't *really* know what would irritate them, right?
So...if I say the sorts of things to them that *I* would find funny, and they find it irritating instead...that's sort of their problem, isn't it?
