I have been off of the my birth control for at least a month and a half. I have noticed abdominal pain, weight gain, and nausea. But I did have my cycle at the beginning of this month. Is it possible to still have your cycle and experience these symptoms. Can I be pregnant? And show long should I wait to take a pregnancy test?

For best results wait till your period is a week late. You could just be recofering from your birth controll still, Depends on what you where using. You could be pregnant and had some spotting, got pregnant after your period or not pregnant at all. Get the home pregnany test.

It is possible to be pregnant as these seem to be "symptoms" of pregnancy. You can also still have your cycle in the very beginning of your pregnancy. I would not hesitate to take a test. You wouldn't want to wait too long, in the event that you are, to start taking pre-natal vitamins, to eat healthy/healthier, stop smoking/drinking, etc. These symptoms could also be side effects of coming off your birth control. Take one test in the morning and if it shows + I would take one again in the afternoon just to be sure. If you are not pregnant, I would see a physician, as these could be symptoms of something else.

You may just be experiencing PMS. Seems like it should be about 28 days fromthe start of your last cycle. You can do a HPT now but maybe check with your ob-gyn

Yes it is possible to be PG & still get your period. You should take a prego test. If you continue feeling this way, get to the doctor. They can do a simple blood test to find out for sure : )
