My period was suppose to be due tomorrow (wednesday), but I tested positive on an hpt on Sunday. Today, I've notice some slight pain in my abdomen on the left side, kind of like ovulation pains, is it normal to feel slight pains this early in pregnancy? Sorry for so many questions, this is my first pregnancy....

Yes it's very normal. You'll have mild period-like cramps for the first few weeks, then around month 3, you'll start feeling sharp pains as your uterine ligaments stretch. Don't fret over every little feeling: it's just the baby telling you it's there and getting comfortable for the long haul.

Congrats!

RULE #1 in pregnancy, never apologize for asking questions or being checked out! Your motherly intuition is your best tool in this strange process!

sometimes you still get a little bit of achiness. If you have any blood, brown discharge, or even just a strange feeling.
Go let your doc check you out! Better safe than sorry!

did you conferm your pregnancy with a doctor? if not....you need to do that. because your pos, test could actually be a urinary tract infection if your having pains. sometimes in early pregnancy you can get very mild cramps, but not like your talkin about if it's really painfull. make an appt. with your doc to confirm first...good luck, congrats

Yes, it's normal. Those might be implantation cramps, as the pregnancy attaches to the uterine wall.
