I'm thinking of buying a larger RAM (1GB). My computer had space for two RAM cards and the one I have at the moment is 512MB. In total, I'll have both of these cards working giving me over 1 1/2GB. Will this increase the speed of my computer?

yea it will, it enable the computer to handle more applications at once instead of waiting for one to finish before working on the next...
