Women like to blame men for divorces, but they why younger women are willing to accept the role of throphy wives? aren't women their own worst enemy?

Not really. Yes, we mostly blame you men for divorces because if you think about it; most men get caught cheating on their wives. I hate the title of "Trophy Wives" because that makes women sound like nothing. That is why most trophy wives are young and dumb which is the way some men like their women. A real woman wouldn't want to be titled as "Trophy Wife" but titled as "Wife". I don't know where the title "trophy wife" comes from but to me that is just so down grating women in many ways.

You really cannot isolate blame like this. Divorces happen for a variance of reasons. the saying, "It takes two to tango," also implies, that it is almost always never solely one persons fault. To accept the role of being any mans trophy is a bit affronting. By definition, a trophy is a "cup or decorative object awarded as a prize for a victory or a success." To be thought of as a prize, or a human display cup is degrading and never should be a part of a marriage, or any love relationship. How can a woman be proud of a man who looks at her as nothing more than that? How can she yield herself fully to such a mindset? I don't know any woman that would... and the one's that do, generally are shallow and doing it for other reasons than relational fullfillment. Regarding younger women accepting such a role: I am uncertain as to what you mean by younger, but usually younger girls are ignorant of life and love, so they might be more apt to accept such a role, especailly if the man is spoiling them with material things, but personally, I would hate that and find no satisfaction in a relationship like that.

That's trophy (not throphy) and young women do it because they feel important, and special, and hope he's got some cash to spend on them. The key here is "young"...with maturity, that tends to interest women less.
If a guy wants a trophy, as far as I'm concerned he can go to a shop and buy one. I'm a partner in a relationship, not something to show off to his friends.

i think that women who are willing to work hard at their marriage should be referred to as a trophy wife. not all women are naggers and not all women are gold diggers, sorry guys.
as for the women who are willing to be put into that role, well, why would a real man want them anyway? any decent man would want someone with a whole list of good qualities, not just look good and shut up.
some women are willing to accept being treated poorly just as some men are willing to do the same thing. its sad.
what about the wives who look good, are good mothers, good friends, cook, clean, and work? why dont we get a trophy? LOL

Only certain KINDS of women are ok with being trophy wives. Woman who aren't in it for love or for companionship but are in it for the payoffs - manicures, shopping, vacations, etc. To some women being spoiled rotten but having no connection is ok with them. And I wouldn't say that all women blame men for divorces (where do you get that from ?)

It's trophy wives. It depends on what women want. I personally wouldn't want to be a trophy wife. I'm to independent. I'm in a wonderful relationship with my significant other, and I can proudly say I work as hard on my job as he does =) Yes, women are their own worst enemies =)

Putting all women in the same group is ignorant. Some women want love, some money and some security. And when I look at people like Donald Trump, I think that his wife deserves $$$ for being with his egotistical, rug-headed a**!!!

yes, sometimes women are their own worst enemy same as men
remember...trophy wives get old and wrinkles too...then what...you go for a younger one again until you get too old to have anyone and you grow older alone?
Either be with someone because you love them or stay single and play the field...keeping the trophies until you are too old to maintain them.

women willing to accept the title trophy wives is only in it for the money and the shopping. NO LOVE at all! trophy wives in my book are all gold diggers
