scared to make the move? i can take a second job, move to a nearby city, and start living by making a youthful assertion of independence. i'm just terrified because last time i was out my girlfriend left me for a roomate, i found myself working at home depot, and six months later i was in boot camp. now i know that these things happen, but if i stay safe at home, i feel like i'll be living a lie..does that make sense, that by making that move, i'll be facing my fears? isn't that the logical thing to do?

Stay home under protection of your parents or move out and try out your new life as an independent adults..... a very typical dilemma faced by many young to-be adults....

Yes, being on your own means you are exposing yourself to make mistakes and risk the consequences. But how else would you learn to be on your own? As long as you learn from each of your mistakes, everything is positive.

If you decide to stay home, how long would you plan to stay there? Sooner or later, you have to move out. I think, (personally), sooner the better.

I'd say, go for it, for the second time, and this time, approach it with the knowledge you acquired from your first experience.
