We have been out of town and had a friend taking care of the pets. I left the geckos mealworms in the frig in the house and left very detailed instructions for the care of each animal. When er got home I was check on her and there was dirt in her food bowl. Right then I knew. I got her moss out to mist it and there were 2 earth worms under the moss container and 3 or more down in her moss. I cleaned her cage right away and feed her her normal meal. I am not sure if she ate any of the earthworms in the time we were gone and the person caring for her didn't see her eat the worms just noticed they were not in her bowl so he assumed she did eat them. The next night I went to feed here and there were a few more worms in her moss. I checked the cage again and they had gotten up behind the background so I removed everything and cleaned it again. What will happen if she did eat any of the earthworms?

You will be fine unless the earthworms were sick. Just watch the lizard for any abnormal behavior, lethargy, refusing to eat, drink and that's when you take her to the vet. I think the lizard will be just fine. Did you know that mealworms, it not chewed can potentially gnaw their way out of the lizard? I only feed wax worms, chopped meal worms and crickets(not chopped). they should have a variety of foods for nutritional balance. Adding a vitamin and mineral dust to the food also helps. If your lizard is large enough, the occassionally "pinky" is good for them too.

Earthworms are high in fat, but are otherwise harmless. Your gecko should do just fine if it ingested one or two. BTW, mealworms don't eat their way out- they are herbivores (as in they eat mostly oatmeal, and other grains in the wild). That's just crazy talk.

they can very easily eat earthworms in the real world, so out side of a stomach ache, they should be fine

She'll probably be less hungry.

You can (and do) eat more than one kind of food. Why can't geckos also eat more than one kind of food?

Just relax.
