The right thing to do you know is to end it and move on, cherish the good memories and deal with the unberable pain taking one day at a time... OUT OF THE QUESTION... we both know you won't do that, one because you dont want too, two because you judge yourself too low and dont belive in your own strenght to deal with the many painful choices we have to make in life and lastly simply because it is convinient to a certain satisfaction of your needs... So being realistic my only advice to you is to seek some professional help, not to deal with this issue only but to learn to cope that life is messed up, it is mostly unfair and the right choices are the hardest to make... You are setting yourself up for failure not because you dont want to suceed but because you want it so desperatly that you loose your path... A controlling person is the first sign of every abuser, a liar who makes you feel good is the definition of an abuser... that is who you have and love today... Your mother was abused, you suffered as you watched the daily abuse but those traumas believe or not make you more blind when comes down to be being with an abuser that still is the PRINCE initial phase; every abuser has to gain his victim first... Sweety, just by your own words I can see that you are a very good person, with a genuine heart and what is most admirable in someone a truthful personality... you are stronger and smarter than what you may think, you are more beautiful and deserves so much better than what you think but no one can convience you of that until the day you look deep into your heart and see how much you are really worth... I wish you the best of luck in reflecting in your life, I will pray for your protection until you can find your inner strenght... You are a treasure hidden from yourself... God bless you... and dont worry about his wife and kids... he is married and a father not you ... the responsability is his, you are not doing it to them he is, if would not be with you it would be with somebody else... It is a nice gesture, but in this specific situation what matters the most is your well being...
