Assuming the oil level is fine and you've changed it recently, that pretty much leaves only two likely candidates.

One is that the pump may be about to fail, and simply doesn't work right once it warms up, either pumping slower or not at all.

The other is that the sensor that tells the warning light to come on is defective. This is less likely since you've noticed smoke.

I'd have the pump looked at.

sounds very much like you have a worn engine. The oil pressure is low and it is burning oil. You may find that the piston rings are worn, and will need replaced. you can buy for a tempory fix a additive to put in to the oil STP and Wynnes make a good one for low oil pressure and to help stop the exhust smoking. I have a Ford van with over 200,000,000, on it and good compression and no smoke, since I have always used good oil and additives

The engine is quickly coming to the end of its service life. At this point you have three options:

- Rebuild the engine
- Buy a new engine
- Buy a new vehicle
