how would i disable my bios?

My A1730N HP computer has an intergrated video chipset and i was thinking of updating the video card to a EVGA 7950GT PCI express x16. how do i go about doing this

if it does not automatically switch for you, you go into the bios( or set up), by hitting dele or f1, and look for the video section and switch it from the on board to the pci-e slot.then reboot. while it's rebooting, swap the monitor cable from the old one to the new card

You dont, when its in, it will bypass the onboard one.

should be able to just plug it in and run with it
