These guys at www.xtermpest.com helped me out, I don't know if you're in orlando or not, but they came out and sprayed areas around my home and a few days later they were all gone.

They also told me I needed to reduce areas where they can feed, drink, and mate.

Areas like the garbage cans, around the sink, grease buildup around engines and the stove and grill, and oil that may of leaked or spilled. I also started making sure all garbage was removed from my house (and closed the trash can).

I also asked my neighbor to clean his garbage can and that seemed to help some more.

Set out a bowl with a 1/2" of cider vinegar in it. Mix in a couple drops of unscented dish detergent. In a few hours, you will find lots of drowned gnats.
