Hello. I try to see it from both sides of the story. Also what do you think invented horoscopes astronomers and philosophers. And what do those people study. Scientific fields of research. Sure I believe in science but I've looked at my horoscopes stats and much of it sounds like me. I bet that if you looked yours up that you would find that you have some similarities between you and your sign. Besides you don't really sound like you are a person that can believe in two things. Some of the most die-hard realists believe in the most idiotic arguments of history. I am not trying to change your standpoint but I think that you should let out a little slack in the line.

You believe in SCIENCE...
....but ask for a scientific basis...
That sounds like a HUGE contradiction! :)
Indeed... religion and "science" make one since the late 20th century...
Please let me explain that better. In 1955, a jesuit priest named Teilhard de Chardin gave a lethal strike at the "science vs. religion" debate, with his "Phenomenon of Man" book which was at first rejected by the church, but later adopted by many societies based on religion.
In his book, Teilhard grossly states that a human being can evolve to become perfect, if the appropriate studies and hard works are made to reach a predetermined point (the Omega point). Now, this is compatible with our education system, but not with any idea based on innate differences determined by the skies, like astrology and signs.
You could then believe that Teilhard was a great man. One who fought for the poor, not for the rich, like he was himself anyway, and contributed to the evolution of societies. But that same, green Teilhard has since been accused by the essayist and scientist S.J. Gould (who's now dead, and cannot defend himself anymore) of traficating human skulls only to make people believe in the existence of a that would have been situated RIGHT between the modern humans and monkeys in the ladder of evolution (i.e. the Piltdown man affair)!
Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piltdown
And I know you want scientific proofs to believe what I say, so here it goes, from Wikipedia.org:
----------------------
"Teilhard de Chardin was suggested in Stephen J. Gould's 1980 book, , to have been a participant in the Piltdown Man hoax. He did work on the site in 1913, at which the fraudulent items were "discovered," but the allegation of Teilhard's participation in this has been discredited by a number of historians."
---------------------
From there, I suggest that you remind this: Teilhard's fellow jesuit priests can be historians and scientists, too. And many high figures in the christian church, and in every big town, know alot more about science than common people.
Does that scare you, plumber?! :P

Does everything require scientific proof in order to be considered legitimate?
In my opinion, no.
Horoscopes can be very accurate from the right resources.
Has been accurate many times in my opinion. AS long as I've experienced success with horoscopes, I couldn't give a flying fig whether or not there is scientific proof backing it up.
Why do you care what others believe?
Should all those that think differently than you be banned from existence?
Believe as you wish, but allow others the same luxury.

planets are scientific. astrology and horoscopes are based on the movements of planets. yeah, as a matter of fact there has been research done on various traits of various signs and were found to be very accurate. i believe in horoscopes, and astrology. people have been using them for AGES long before jesus christ, and whatever other part of the christian religion you want to qoute at me. also, i know christians who regularly read their horoscopes, so get over it. and since when does the phrase noobs apply to anything beyond video games? plus my god, you were a noob at stuff too so get over it. plus the one guy above me brought up an interesting point. there is no scientific proof god exists, why beleive in him. i can look through a telescope and see that planets exist and move. i cant see god no matter how hard i look. id rather belive in something i can see rather than stuff i have to imagine.

i don't place plenty fee in horoscopes, yet i've got discovered that astrology is plenty greater precise and finished. i'm not sure approximately numerology. have you ever tried it to work out? it fairly is greater useful than asking others to make up your suggestions for you. No, there is not any scientific info, yet technological know-how hasn't defined each and everything yet. Why did cavemen draw spaceships on the partitions of caves?

You have an opinion, fine. Stick to the argument and do not insult the arguers.
Read Carl Sagan's balony detection kit if you like science. Learn how to state your point without the name calling.

I have a challenge for you, Mr. Disbeliever. If one of us correctly "guesses" your sun sign, then that person should get the best answer. How about it?
By the way, my guess is that you are an Aquarius or a Capricorn.
Do I get a prize???

Your totally ignorant. If you did alittle more research then you'll know that you can't base your horoscope solely on your SUN SIGN. There are other influences.
Someone hasn't done their homework.

Its for fun. Its a good unwinding tool for me. Those of us who have worked a million years, with bonafide STUPID NOOBS find this relaxing. Go away, and leave us in peace. We need it. You apparently don't.
