because runn n, and others like him, got their jobs at DHS because of party affiliation, not expertise in the task at issue.

Good Question. One that's been lingering around unanswered for how long now? I guess someone at Homeland Security didn't get the memo that they died while crashing planes into the twin towers. OR the government had really lowered their standards when hiring employees.
Funny how after the initial story came out, it was dropped and never mentioned again.

That would have been very difficult to do since the Department wasn't even created until November 2002.

I was denied a passport 3 years ago because of my Vietnam service record and going AWOL......I'm 36 years old.
