A good way to stay motivated is to change your workout routine, don't do the same thing every day or you'll get burned out. I have quite a few workout videos, a mountain bike, rollerblades, and an elliptical machine. I get bored easily and I have to do different things to keep motivated. I have a very hard time eating right, though, I love fried food and beer, so it's hard for me. But, I lost 30 punds a little over a year ago and I've kept it off, so I'm doing ok.

Yes I do try...
Having a workout buddy is the best for me..it makes me more responsible knowing someone is relying on me because I am usually the leader of the two when working out.
I don't have one right now so I actually got a recumberent biking for the living room and I play xbox while biking. I get so wrapped up in the games that I really do bike like 12 miles in one sitting without realising it. Its nice to do before bed..I sleep so much better.

My blood pressure and high cholesterol motivate me every time I feel like eating unhealthy or not wanting to exercise.
