What a good question. Thought Mama Cass passed away in the 70's and Karen Carpenter in the 80's

Cass did not die of drugs or eating any sandwich. Both had heart failure, one from obesity and the other from anorexia nervosa. The ironic is that they both died at the same age, and both were considered pitch perfect.
I would like to think they would have still been superstars, even today. Two amazing ladies
