It takes 15 minutes by car or half an hour by bus for me to get to Roker/Seaburn.

About a two day drive to the Gulf of Mexico or three days to the east or west coast. There are some lakes nearby, but I would imagine those don't count. I live about as far away from a salt water beach as you can in the states.

It's an almost 3 hour drive from my house. It's closer for me to go to San Antonio Texas than to Galveston Texas.
