I have very fair skin (too light for almost all fair foundations I've tried) and I want to do something about always looking pale. My face and lips have very little natural color. I try using different eyeshadows, liners, and blushes...but it either doesn't show up at all or it looks too obvious. Any product with decent pigmentation just stands out too much. I've had some success with blushes recently, but my eyes are the real trouble. Any suggestions about how to wear eye color that will give me some pop but not look too crazy on pale skin?

Here are some general rules you might actually be able to remember: instead of trying to remember which color to use with what and what intensity etc......
(1) No matter what, use mascara. This will define your eyes even if you wear a light eyeshadow.
(2) Focus on just one feature. Either do a swipe of bright eyeshadow above the lid, a bright coral or peach blush, or a bright lip----but never all at once. This way, you can really use any color you'd like no matter how intense it is. By focusing on one feature, your look will be more "high fashion" and less "clownish."

You could try the light cream blushes. They work well on pale skin. I happen to think pale skin is very beautiful.
For green eyes I will suggest lighter shades like brown, violet, and pink/rose colors .
Practice and see what looks you like. It'll be fun.
Good Luck!

Boy, did you come to the right avatar! I am so white I glow in the dark! [ and have light brownhair and green eyes ].
Try a tinted moisturizer on the days you are afraid someone will send you to the nurse - Neutrogena makes a good one.
Experiment with pinks vs. peaches for blush and lip color, to find out if you lokk better in 'warm' or 'cool' colors.
WARM - ivory, tomato red, peach, orange, rust, gold, lime, kelly or olive green, turquoise or teal blue, bright purple,
caramel, chocolate.
COOL - white, pink, raspberry, cherry red, coral, lemon, mint,
jade, or hunter green, baby, royal, or navy blue, lavender, eggplant, gray, and black.
For green eyes: shadow or liner:
use contrasting colors such as blue [ teal or navy ]
purple [ lavender or bright ]
browns [ chocolate vs. taupe ]
contrasting greens - different shade than your eyes
metallics [ gold vs. silver ]
Mascara: use dk. brown or brown-black. Experiment with colored mascaras for evening or concerts.

do no longer use magazines as your fashions via fact they're regularly too dramatic and dark for daywear. pass to the Clinique counter at your mall and function the girls instruct you the thank you to do your makeup. Clinique has attractive, rich colours that look organic. you come out looking very extraordinarily, no longer clownish. you could pass a sprint darker interior the night, yet by no ability permit your makeup positioned on you. you're able to be able to desire to constantly choose for enhancement of your person splendor. case in point, "city Decay" is a line of makeup that's far over the sting---too dark each and each of ways around and the girls on the counter in basic terms attempt to sell you lots of crap. regularly, you could not re-create that look at living house. Clinique is a super line, as is bare Minerals. the two will look wonderful on you.

if your eyes are green stick with a black or blue liner [or purple], or use no liner at all. try a shimmery bronzer in the corner of your eyelids and very black mascara that lengthens [try XXL from maybeline] and a light bronzer on your cheeks, top of nose, and dust it on your eyes.
