I believe they still hear, a few years back i went to see a very good medium, at first i didn't think she was up to much, she was just talking about mundane stuff that i think would apply to everyone, but out of nowhere she began to talk of relatives that i had lost over the years, mentioning not only their names but how and when roughly they had died, one relative she mentioned i couldn't place, and thought she was wrong, it wasn't until the next day i remembered who she was talking about, it was my cousins husband who had died and i only went to the funeral out of respect, she told me how my relatives had been watching me through a difficult time in my life and wanted to give me a hug, from the things she told me they had seen an awful lot, i do not believe this woman was a con artist for one second, if anything i now feel relieved to know that even if there is no heaven my spirit will live on.

Yes they can hear and see you they just have different ways of communicating with us. The soul allways survives it's the body that human body that fails. And to all those cathalics who want to post silly s#&t before you do, ask your self when was the last time YOU talked to god?

physiologically speaking, hearing comes from the ear-canal and goes into the brain.. so assuming the dead are hanging around us as spirits, I don't see how it'd be possible for them to hear us.. that goes for the other 4 senses as well.. that's one of the main reasons I don't believe in ghosts.. ghosts lack a material body to interact with the material world, and without a material body they would be unable to perceive anything..

This is Luke the doctor quoting...
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. Luke 16:24
Abraham was cring from hell, somebody heard him!
