LOL, yes i had one of those with the nylon loops that you wove together!! i haven't thought of that thing in years, thanks for the flashback. :)

Well, I liked making them at that age. You will probably have to set her down and show her how it is done, but she should catch on. And I don't think it is boring at all. I'm only 18 and I would have rather made potholders than play with most other things when I was that age!

I loved making them - but never did get the hang of finishing off the edges so I could take them off!
