Ok little history lesson on Zepp.... First and foremost the Zeppelin logo that you are referring to is actually the record label's zeppelin logo it is the logo for Swan Song no it's not lucifer. The logos for Zeppelin cosist of four symbols: Zoso symbol which is Jimmy Paige's symbol and he has not ever mentioned what it means personally to him if you look it up you'll find satanic meanings like crawleys magic and stuff like that. Robert plants symbol is a feather with a circle around it and then John Bonham has 3 rings for his symbol based on his favorite beer and then "Jonesy" John Paul Jones' symbol is the one with weird shaped circles of 3 with a large circle surrounding, these symbols are believed to have something to do with mysticism.

Neither Jimmy Page or Robert Plant really say who the fallen angel from Heaven is to depict, other than it's their trademark record label icon; it's left up to the individual, I guess.

No, it's Icarus, from the old Greek myths.

They're still telling that lie about it being Lucifer? Jeez, the religious wackjobs were spreading that crap around when I was in high school in 1975. Religious nuts never give up on their delusions, I guess.

I suggest you pick up Hammer of the Gods- The Story of Led Zepplin, I read it in 1986, great book.

That is the rumor. Jimmy Page was into the occult big-time back in the day, and his house interior is covered with occultic symbols. It's a shame that his blood disease cost him his ability to play guitar anymore. He was excellent on acoustic guitar.

They made a record label called Swan Song Records. It's their logo for it. It doesn't look like a swan though.
