USC has one of the BEST graduate physical therapy programs in the United States. It is a DOCTORAL degree. Most schools who offer graduate level PT offer Doctoral degrees. Only a few offer masters degrees. All of these programs do have pre-requisite science classes. Check each school for requirements.

USC's PT school is housed on the Health Sciences Campus, located in LA over by the USC+LAC Hospital (around the I10/I5 junction). It is close to Pasadena; many students live in or around Pasadena. Here is their program website: http://pt.usc.edu/academic_programs/entry_dpt.htm

You should look over their admissions requirements. You will probably need to take some pre-req classes (from anywhere, including PCC) before you apply.

Here is a thorough listing of programs. Check out California's listing. http://www.apta.org/AM/Template.cfm?section=PT_Programs&template=/aptaapps/accreditedschools/acc_schools_map.cfm&process=3&type=PT

Closest to you would be Azusa Pacific (in Azusa), Mt. St. Mary's (in LA) or Western U (in Pomona).

CSUN has a PT program. It would be the least expensive compared with the programs listed in the previous answer. I understand there's quite a waiting list.
Since you have a psych degree, check out the masters program in communicative disorders (speech pathology). CSUN has a well-respected program, and you don't need to get a doctorate!
