Those of you blaming the Left for Cindy's change of plans are obviously of the mistaken notion that the core of the Democratic party is on the Left.

And I don't see any liberals or even Democrats celebrating her decision. It is the Cons on this forum who are gloating over it.

I applaud the woman for going out and fighting for what she believes in. She's a leader and a fighter. I just cannot understand all these people who hate her because she is pissed because her son died in a senseless war. I guess they just can't face facts and reality or should I say... lies and deception of the Bush Administration.

Be Strong Cindy....our blessings are with you.

Mr. rewriter, you libs did away with Sheehan so don't run away from doing that, the blood of Cindy Sheehan is on your hands not conservatives. You need to buy the whole collection of surrender plates brought to you by the franklin mint which provides you the greatest moments of appeasement. We can beat the Jihadist movement and we are doing it put persuading an appeaser like yourself is a pointless effort.

Nobody likes to be criticized, especially in politics.

The Dems did give in on this war bill. They talked up a good game, then didn't produce.

It's irritating to other Dems.

Her son died. Why did her son die? What was gained by his death? I'd be one pissed off parent.

This is a sad story any way you look at it. I hope her actions at least gave her an outlet for her anger. And I equally hope she's able to concentrate on the rest of her family and not be haunted by this for the rest of her life.

Those of you ripping on her are scum.

Cindy Sheehan picked up her marbles and went home because the Democrats didn't keep their promise and end the war.

Well, that and George Soros closed the checkbook and now she's on her own.

I feel so sorry for that woman. She held out under pressures that would have completely broken many of us. And all she was trying to do was get something good out of the worst thing that could happen to a loving mother. I hope she gets some rest, and I hope only good things happen to her from here on in. I hope the conservatives who blasted her are seen for the bullies they are.

"Well, I count 0 terrorist attacks on US soil in 5 years, so I guess we can do BOTH of those!"

Worst leap of judgment EVER. There wasn't a terror attack from '93 until Clinton was out of office...does that mean he did a great job fighting terrorism?

Sheehan was a whacko, plain and simple. She was ignorant and uncouth, and Liberals everywhere should be glad that she is no longer attempting to speak for you.

It appeared to me that the bases of why she withdrew herself was due to disfavor within her own 'left' party.

It equaled that of the 'right' party and thus she realized her passion even within her own party wasn't accepted.

However you came up with that radical question is the premise of everything she realized. That her party is about as zany as ever.

No - the democrats did that. She probably couldn't get anymore money from them.

It wasn't the Cons, it was the DEMS who caused her to give up. Read her letter.
