Glad you brought that up. As a past very Heavy drinker I am so thankful that I never injured or killed anyone.
With all this talk about the dangers of second hand smoke and how it kills innocent victims. No one talks about how many people are maimed and killed everyday by second hand drinking.
Also your avatar is classy.

Even tougher laws are not the answer, those intoxicated have to be caught before the laws can be enforced. By the time they are stopped how many lives are in danger or even lost.
People go into bars to drink and come out and drive home after doing so. What would happen if the police were sitting in front the bars giving breathalyser tests as people left?
Do you think they might get the message then.

Exactly--they never learn until it's too late. Even getting caught they still do it again (some people not all). And the worst part is that the drunk driver comes out with a few scratches and the other party suffers greater injuries. SAD.

Never because one of my friends had a DUI and he's still drinking and driving until he get caught again. Never because one of family members ran into a building and still drinking and driving. So um unfortunately it seems like never.

I learned my lesson when I hit a parked car on the other side of the road. I haven't taken a drink since.

When all are left are the smart ones. I see it as the weeding out of ignorance. Eventually they'll all kill off themselves. Unfortunetely, they are going take a few daddys, mommys, and children with them. Freakin' morons. Call a cab! gheesh.

People know very well its wrong to drink and drive, but do it anyway.I think if they are caught ,they should'nt be given a second chance,as they will do it again and again.
