I went through the first 40 questions in politics. 24 of them were so called "Cons" making asses of themselves or acting like children. 4 were "Libs" doing the same thing. The balance were good questions from both side. So what do so called "cons" hope to accomplish my name calling, insulting people, and claiming, that anyone who disagrees with them hates America? I know as a REAL conservative(look at my Q&A) i am outraged by these Bush lapdogs acting the fool. Why must they embarrass themselves?

As you mentioned, it happens on both sides of the coin. Sometimes the conservatives do it more, sometimes the liberals. There will always be people like that. Some of us here are interested in real politics and not childish banter, and I am a conservative.

Well the vast majority of the questions I pose are serious in nature and I've usually spent a few minutes of thought on them, but I admit that I've engaged in a few childish ones from time to time.

In my view, it's okay to be a little immature with your questions occasionally, as long as you aren't being malicious to another group of people.

Sometimes a little lowbrow satire lightens things up. We can't be dead serious all the time.

Peer pressure.Think the new conservatives are welcomed here by a delegation of regular conservatives who tell them exactly how to behave and what not to do.
I've seen good conservatives been attacked in the past in very ugly ways for defending decency on their side even if it was against libs. They don't tolerate dissent much like in real life.

It happens on both sides... And you can't say that Cons do it anymore than Libs it just depends on the day!!! I get sick of the Liberals never answering a question direct and honest. They like to attack and call names also.

That's a small representative sample.

Quick searches:
437 questions contained "stupid democrats" in the title
602 questions contained "stupid republicans" in the title

198 questions with "idiot democrats"
269 questions with "idiot republicans"

45 questions with "retarded democrats"
91 questions with "retarded republicans"

You should ask yourself again who is doing the bulk of the childish name calling.

Maybe they do it so you can understand what they are saying otherwise they'd be talking over your head.
