that all of your programs are out of funding and you don't know where they will sleep tonight? Then if that's not bad enough you refer them elsewhere and the other agencies call and yell at you because they don't have any money either. This is one of those days when I hate my job!!!!!! Can I go home and cry now?

Baby!! I am 24 so I remember the 90's better than the 80's. I loved the pop culture of my time. I actually miss the simplicity of being a kid. I miss my light up sneakers. I love Oregon Trail. I was in love with New Kids On The Block. I always wanted to get slimed on the orange couch.

yes, I have, case worker for 2 1/2 years in Kentucky I don't know what advice to give you but I'll keep you in my prayers. That's why I quit and became a nurse 10 years ago.

Tough stuation. However cry inside a little then look back at all the people you have been able to help. You will help more also in the future I am sure.

I am glad you posted that here...now I know that caseworkers are human. I always wondered. I'm not being a smartass...I am serious. Most of the ones I encountered when I was a single mom acted like they didn't care.
