Basic rule of thumb, you get what you pay for.

1.5GB of memory (internal+card) won't hold much in the way of music much less video. Average song is around 3.5Mb, so roughly 420 songs.

For an iPod, I would stick exclusively to music with only 4Gb. Go for the video iPod w/30Gb drive. The 4Gb iPod would hold over a 1000 songs to put this in perspective.

If your not computer savvy, I'd get the iPod. It will be much easier for you to find folks who can help you with an iPod.

Word of advise from someone who has purchased many iPods over the years - get the extended warranty/Apple care package. For me, it's been $ well spent.

it really depends.....
with ipod you have all kinds of accessories. You'll have MILLIONS of songs to choose from and lots of shows, movies, and free podcasts. But you pay for all of them...

With your MP3 I guess you could record your favorite songs/videos. And it has a camera...

I'd go with the JDX even though I have an ipod video.

Apple ipod... in my opinoin because of the fact they're extra univerisal and you may get get admission to to itunes... which Zune would not have. confident with Zune you are able to commerce songs, yet that does no solid whilst frequently truthfully everyone has Ipods.
