Outdoor Florida Plants/Trees?

What are some low maintenance, colorful potted plants for a lanai? Some for full sun, some for total shade...

I like the cana lillies; thay can take shade oe sun and they will look good in the theme of a lanai. Also, you could try mandevilla; it's a vine that comes in a variety of colors and it will cover the lanai.

I have impatients in the shade in pots on my balcony because the morning sun is too hot for them . I also have mini roses in full sun in pots on my balcony . so I guess you could not go wrong with these . good luck and I hope I helped . I live in florida in central part .
