Howard Stern seems to thrive on being a mess. However, I do not know his private life, so I will not judge him.

I think he is just an entertainer. Ive heard him talk about crazy stuff on the air then minutes later talk about taking his kids to dinner. He is probably a totally diffrent perso off the air. Just like someone playing a killer in a horor movie dosent make them physco when the movie is over

Depends on your tastes. Was the last movie you saw good? Which color is better, blue or red?
If you like his show and sense of humor, then he's respectable. Otherwise, I'd say ignore him (don't know if I'd go so far as to say anyone is a "complete mess").

He's a happy medium between the two. I've loved listening to him for a long time. I guess everyone has different tastes.

I don't think he is respectable at all.... he is entertaining if you have a one track mind that revolves solely around naked girls and rude gestures.
