Quality is relative to the price you pay and is also subjective to the individual.
I may believe that a pair of jeans I buy for £30 are top quality in comparison to a £15 but a friend may think that his £250 jeans are even better quality because they have a name brand.
In essence, it's important to look at the quality itself and not assume that a named brand is better becasue of the name.
Sounds confusing but it does make sense!

For casual clothes, those I wear every day or going out with friends, I consider quality, a must. I have some very expensive casual pieces and I do not regret it.
When I need a dress I will wear one time on a wedding, second time on a reception and this is all (on the next wedding I must wear a new one because all the guests are more or less the same people!!), I do not ignore the price. I do not want to spend much money on something I will wear 2 or 3 times. The quality comes second. As long as it LOOKS luxurious and chic I do not care about its quality. Who will notice??? haha!!
