I bought a laughing Buddha at a flea market and I can remeber are you supposed to rub his head or belly for good luck?

his belly = Happiness and Luck
his hands = Wealth

I haven't seen it in any answer yet, but rubbing the Belly of a "Happy" Buddha is also a help to fertility and virility.
