i can think of two: Johann Gutenberg and Alfred Nobel. Gutenberg invented the the printing press about 1450; imagine the information age without it. Alfred Nobel invented dynamite. our infrastructure could not have been built without it.

If you are american like me u would no about Martin Luther King Jr. He did his teachings on Mahatma Gandhi or baji and he was a cival rights leader and stood up 4 african-americans(like me i'm black). He was very peacful. If it wasnt 4 him America would still be treating blacks like the "un touchables"(From Hindi castes). Thanks

Jonas Salk- developed a vaccine against polio. He also refused to patent the vaccine because he personally didn't want to make money from it. Polio was a huge killer for many years, many children died from it, and because of him, we no longer have this worry.
