Have you ever been in a situation before that was so unbearable, and not doing anything about it just finally made you snap, for the good or bad?

Have you ever read Hamlet by William Shakespeare?

Not exactly what you were thinking huh? Well I've had to read it a couple times through high school. I'm only seventeen, but it impacted me. It's a tragedy, and Hamlet's tragic flaw is his indecision and caution. I'm so much like this. So I rarely ever regret DOING something, rather, I regret NOT DOING something.
Has anything bad ever happened to me? Maybe, but who cares? Things are only as bad as we make them : ) As for actually reaching a breaking point, yeah, I must have. I guess you just have to move on and do the best with what is left.
Sorry, I'm talking about myself.

But, what I'm trying to say is, nothing ever changes without action.
It sounds like you may be talking about relationship problems, not my best thing to talk about, because I'm actually very unattached. My best advice would be, to do what YOU think is right for YOU. Don't be afraid to move.
Try something new, something you've always wanted to do, or even something else he has always wanted to do. Don't try to recreate old emotions, discover new ones. There are just too many things. Maybe I'm just naive, ha.

Any action human does is based on the situation and the solution at the time to its best of ability.. right or wrong is just a way of defining something which may have some importance to world but should not have any importance to you as you are the one who did in that situation with your own mind and heart.. Simple thing is most does the same thing in same situation as human being.. so there is no good or bad !!

Well, I suppose the "snap" would be doing something about it. But, yes, I believe that there have been times that I've let a situation get out of control to the point where it took a more severe reaction to correct it (than if I would have addressed it when the issue was more manageable).

I can't remember a situation like that, but I remember a situation of someone else's that affected me.

My older half-sister was sexually abused by my father. It was too much for her to bear, so she just pretended it never happened, blocked it from her mind, even lied when people asked her what had happened.

So, in turn, through her 'non-action', my father, some 18 or 20 years later, sexually abused me for ten years. :/

You still made a choice though.
Even non-action is a choice, non-action is a "doing something." It may be the fact that you feel as if you have no control over the situation if you did not act that makes you anxious.

Of course. Unfortunately, I snapped by dissolving into tears, which didn't solve anything. The problem didn't go away, and I was a mess.
