I am 20 years old when I first met her. I met my girlfriend when she was 12 year old at college. (She's a college student, her parents put her to kinder at age 4 and skipped 3rd grade. and got her GED at age 12) When she became 13, I asked her out and she became my girlfriend. now, she is 16 year old and out of school and got a job. I am 24 year old with a job also. We are very much in love with each other. I am planning to get married with her. We've been together for 4 great years. I knew she was the one for me. I hear if I do have sex with her, I will be in trouble with the law (statutory rape), I really want to have sex with her. I don't want to wait anymore, it is going to be at least 2 more years then I can legally have sex with her. I would never leave her if she gets pregnant. I'm too much in love with her. What do I do with my sex drive and how to I ask her to marry me? do I tell her parents about me marrying her? They are okay with me dating her.

i know she wants to get married with me because she told me. She's been taking me by hand to engagement ring stores, looking at bridal magazines. I want to get married with her too.

Wait unless the idea of going to jail sounds interesting. You are a man and she is a girl. You might even think if breaking it off for 2yrs and then re-kindle the relationship. Once she becomes a woman, she may see or want different things than now. The fact that she is very smart mentally could have some bearing on the type of person that she eventually wants to be with......You were foolish to involve yourself with a child in the first place (20 - 12). You may have already broken the law.......Be smart and break it off....Deal with someone around you own age.....

First, You cannot legally marry a minor without parental consent. So you need to get her parents permission to marry her.
If you want to satisfy your sex drive you can do one of two things:
1. Masturbate
2. Pay for sex from a hooker
The long term commitment center of the human brain is not fully developed until about age 25. With such an age gap between you two and the fact that she hasn't even finished puberty yet I can promise you with absolute certainty that you two will not last. The divorce rate between mature adults is 50 percent in this country. With two people, one of whom is still very much developing on a mental level the odds are so stacked against you.
You may believe me to be wrong, but mark my words, you will remember what I said when you two break up.

She is still a child and like it or not you need to wait! So you won't leave her if she gets pregnant! What about giving her a chance to grow up? She needs to experience life without you! She won't even know who SHE is! You should have known better to hook up with a little girl! You say you've been together for 4 years, well that's disgusting! You need to get out of her life and let her grow up normal! When she's an adult, then come around and see where she is at! You men always want to prey on young girls and then control them like they are your belongings! Get your OWN LIFE and leave this poor little girl ALONE! Do you not get it??? SHE IS TO YOUNG TO MAKE THIS DECISION!!! She is still a child and only THINKS she knows what she wants! You won't leave her alone so she can have a normal growing up, to decide what she really wants! You've been with her since she was a little girl, she know nothing else! IN ALL FAIRNESS, YOU NEED TO STEP BACK FOR A COUPLE YEARS AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!! You are really pretty SICK TO NOT SEE THIS IS A CHILD STILL AND YOU WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH HER!!! You are a sicko!

Aside from that I think 16 is too young for anybody to settle down...not everybody thinks as I do, so why don't you discuss marriage with her, and then if she agrees, discuss it with her parents?
In some states you can get married at 16 or even earlier. You could get married in one of those states, (the south I believe) but you do need her parents' blessing, or you will forever have a problem there.

If her parents are supportive and you do the honorable thing and ask them for permission to marry her then they can help you get married by signing the permission legal paperwork. Once a 16 year old is married then she is by law emacipated from her parents and the statuatory rape law does not apply.

Ask her parents. I think in some states you can get married at 16 with parents approval. You've already waited 4 yrs, 2 more isnt that long. You can do it!

Just because she is a genius doesn't mean she is mature enough for this. Back off - you will regret it later in life. If you are meant to be she will want to try again with you when she is older.
