Sreesanth should succeed Rahul dravid as Indian captain, Sreesanth has traits similar to Sourabh ganguly,he is aggressive, not shy at giving it back to the opposition in any form and is highly motivated similar to ganguly,so he should be the captain

It will be hard to fill the big void left by Rahul Dravid. He is not just a great batsman technically but he also has a great temperament and ice cool head under difficult circumstances. He never cracks under pressure that is one of the unique qualities he had over his famous colleagues. It would tough for Indian team to find a replacement for him,V Kohli is different type of cricketer, his test cricket still has a long way to go and he should be scoring consistently in test matches. However one player that comes to my mind is Chetashwar Pujara. He looked good when he played against SA pacers in the test match and he also has a very good technique but injury derailed his progress.I hope in this 'A' tour we will get to see some good batting prospects which also includes players like pujara, sharma etc who can catch the eyes of selectors if they play well.

I will say Mahendra Singh Dhoni.......,because The spectacular arrival of Virender Sehwag was bound to inspire others to bat with the same mindset. But the odds of a clone emerging from the backwaters of Jharkhand, whose state side has consistently scraped the bottom, was highly remote. That was until Mahendra Singh Dhoni arrived. He can be swashbuckling with the bat and secure with the wicketkeeping gloves. His neck-length hair adds to his dash. Though Dhoni made his first-class debut in the 1999-2000 season, it was only in 2004 that he became a serious contender for national selection with some stirring performances when the occasion demanded - a rapid hundred which helped East Zone clinch the Deodhar Trophy and an audacious 60 in the Duleep Trophy final. But it was with his two centuries against Pakistan A, in the triangular tournament in Kenya, that he established himself as a clinical destroyer of bowling attacks. In just his fifth one-dayer, against Pakistan at Vishakapatnam, he cracked a dazzling 148 - putting even Sehwag in the shade - and followed that up with a colossal 183 not out at Jaipur against Sri Lanka in November, when he broke Adam Gilchrist's record for the highest score by a wicketkeeper in ODIs. He made an instant impact on the Test level too, pounding 148 at Faisalabad, in only his fifth Test, when India were struggling to avoid the follow on, and established himself as one of the critical members of a revitilised side. Though he struggled with the bat in the West Indies, he wicketkeeping was top-class, especially when standing up to the stumps against the spinners.

If Sehwag regain his lost form and startperforming well, he will have better chance to suceed Dravoid as Captain. Otherwise the choice will be between Yuvaraj Singh, Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik.

They need young Blood ... Forget Shewag he can hardly play in fact he does not deserve to be in the team. at the moment Dhoni would be the best option...with the vice captain probably being Harbajan...

I don't like any of the names that you have mentioned as likely Indian captain. Dinesh Karthik is my choice.
