Why are people so judgemental when you say that you used a Ouija Board?

I posted a question about how to get rid of a spirit if you called it up using a Ouija Board because Me and a few people were stupid and used one then freaked ourselves out. The thing is when I posted the question I found that lots of people were eager to preach at me and throw around religious verses than offer advice besides saying dont mess around with a Ouija Board. I find that these people are all too eager to preach at you but when it comes to offering actual spiritual guidance that may even help someone who feels they have to use a Ouija Board because alot of crappy things happened to them in such a short amount of time that its hard to have a little faith in anything, they are the last to be found but always there to judge. I know everyone is not like that But I want to know peoples opinions. By the way I learned my lesson not to mess around with a Ouija Board if not for the spiritual effects but for the Psycological ones because I feel bad for doing it.

I need to add this. We freaked ourselves out and did not conjure up anything. I add this because some one left this message to my question

Basically people FEAR what they do not understand. And many use the Bible to thump on and sprout out at you that it is the "Devil's Tool"

When all honesty... the Ouija Board is nothing more than a tool to help those that have not learned how to speak with spirits without the aid of tools.

The Ouija Board is addicting and I don't recommend it for that reason and for the fact that spirits will lie. They will tell you what they think you want to hear... just so you will come back again and again to talk with them. (NOT ALL OF THEM but some will lie.)

But to answer your question, it does seem like there are so many that are so ready to pass judgment and condemn when instead they should be reading the very book that the feel compelled to preach from and discover the passage that tells them to judge not least ye be judged!

The Ouija Board is manufactured and distributed by the Hasbro Company. These are the same people who Make the "Ants in your Pants" game. Very scary stuff.

Here is why I think most people are so judgemental about the Ouija. Every story I've every heard usually starts with the phrase "when we were in High School". This is a time when people are highly suggestible and Believe other ludicrious things - like that Green M&M's are the Chocolate version of Viagra and If you say "Bloody Mary" in the mirror ten times, she will appear and kill you. And sure, it's a creepy sensation and the "messages" appear to come from some Akashic Plane. Maybe they do. However, I look back at myself in High School and thought intellectually I know the things I beleived then are - um, ridiculous (for Heaven's sake, never Tale $6.66 cents worth of Change - make them keep a penny!) I also know they had a lasting impression on my psyche (I still feel a little uncomfortable with that extra penny!) These people all encounter Evil spirits because they have been told they will. The Brain gives you what you need.

Urban Legends don't help. The Toy's R Us' in Sunnydale isn't haunted - A knife didn't go through the table at a Ouija session. If one has ever predicted sudden, violent deaths - they are probably self fulfilling prophecies.

As far as I can see, it's just part of the bodies autonomic response and tells you more about the subconscious of the user then any spirit world.

But you want Ouija advice? OK. Let's talk about hypnosis. It's a trick. You do something to make a person's eyes feel tired and tell them they are sleepy - well, they go into a trance. Same with any ritual. With the board, your trying to get answers. You actually already know the answers but you don't like them, so your looking for anothe answer. Create a ritual around the board which puts you in a place where you feel safe and honest. Light a White candle, draw a circle of salt, Take a hot bath in your favorite place, surround yourself mentally with golden light, wear your favorite clothes and go to your favorite place. Ask good questions, ones designed to help you find answers, not dangerous stuff like "When will I die" or "Who will I Marry?" This is dangerous because you could very well set yourself up for a self fulfilling prophesy.

A multitude of people use a Ouija board and many of them have different results.... Now I will say this I don't give one rats hoot what other people think, Because Ouija boards are a very dangerous instrument to play with... Now because of so many people have no idea as to how really use the Ouija board and had nothing happens, it does not negate the fact that accidents do happen and they have really conjured up an evil spirit. And those spirits don't just leave because you asked them to. Many of them have to be sent back by the way they came, But since it was an accident you have no concept of that... What you really need is a binding spell that can keep spirits immobile until you can figure out a way to send them back. This is not a joke when I say you should not play with toys that can place you in danger. But all to many people think that they know what they are doing because then seen certain things in the movies or have seen a friend do it.... Well certain binding spell and return spells can be found at your local library. I strongly urge you to read long and hard. And never again play with such a dangerous object.. Over a long period of time the Ouija Board has prooven to
draw in lower evolved energies that are serving their own purpose and have no interest in you or the greater good.
These enitits are lost souls trying to use others to find their way. You can bring something into your life that could be
very destructive as this opens a doorway between worlds. If one wishes to contact the Spirit World they should seek spirit of greater enlightenment from meditation and going within, (not those of discord), so to be of some advantage to them in their evolutionary and enlightenment path. There is no magic in spiritual communication, one only need to open their inner minds eye to hear as all dimensions exist at the same time in the same space somewhat side by side. It is advisable to study Metaphysics prior to playing with what you do not fully understand and think is just a game. There is far more to you and this reality than you presently know.Therefore, it is being "DISCERNING" not Judgmental that one suggested avoiding use of them when they know them to be a detremental tool. If people use their religous belief system as a reason, not experience then it is judgemental,
not discerning from factual experience..

Why are you no longer think to apply the call Daeman Mokes and the place did you right here this from? i attempted looking it up and there is not any suggestions of this individual or element being undesirable. i could think of that whoever you talked to grew to become right into a bad spirit and drawing the circulate is something that helped defend you all. Burn the ouija board to fully eliminate it. A ouija board is a ouija board is a ouija board and no i did no longer stutter. they're each and each of an identical. some believe their basically a interest and a few believe they invite worry into your existence. i in my view do unlike them from my own journey an do no longer mess with them yet for you and your buddy to make yet another one is your person determination in basic terms be particularly careful bear in mind you regularly could have stated no to creating yet another one.

PERFECT QUESTION FOR ME!!! I am a wiccan, i come form a large family of pagans of different faiths and teaching. Lucky for you and me, my father made living building Ouija boards, They are nothing dangerous. Nothing to be worried about, but Milton Bradly does not put in it's instructions how to correctly use a spirit board... so there lies your problem with the board. Ouija boards are a wonderful tool!! Don't give up on using one, just to more to learn how to use it!!

People are preachy b/c they don't know about spirits and they don't take the time to learn about other spiritual beliefs. we live in a very closed mined people.
People think it brings the devil and other ridiculous things into our lives.... If people want to judge you then they need to not answer your question!!!

I know you may dismiss me as just a weirdo making up stories and you're welcome to think that if it makes you feel more comfortable, however I swear to you hand on heart that what I'm about to tell you is true.

An uncle of a friend of mine was around one of his Uni friends apartments and they were drinking and messing around as Uni students do when one of them suggested that they should mess around with a Ouija board. They all agreed and went along with it and it went well enough at the start. But my friends uncle, just out of the blue, got up from the table and sprinted across the room and out of the window, luckily they were only one floor up so the fall didn't do much damage but he got up from the ground and carried on running and running right out of the apartment complex and several hundred metres down the road all the while screaming at the top of his voice and crying in fear. The guy even wet himself! but when police saw him naturally they chased him and stopped him but he could not be stopped from screaming and he just kept trying to run away. He is now in the city's mental institution and remains to this day incapable of talking, walking and often sleeping, he hardly eats. He cannot be left alone because he just screams and cries and tries to scratch out his own eyes.

Nobody will ever know what it was that he saw, and he has no way of telling anybody. He spends most of his time in confinement because he's a danger to himself. Please please consider this the next time you decide to mess about with the Ouija board, it is a powerful tool and can take someone from their prime and take their mind and soul which can never be replaced.

I used one when I was younger and it started to scare me. I ended up putting it up in my closet and leaving it alone. I had to pray alot and I was scared for a long time. The Ouija board is sold as a game and it's really not a game. I don't have a board in the house today and if my kids wanted to get one - I'd tell them to wait till they live on there own.

People are afraid of what they do not understand or what is contrary to their own belief. Religion in general teaches people to be judgemental which became quite obvious after you posted the question. Don't worry about it.

By the way. Whenever you use a Ouija Board you have to say "Goodbye" When the indicator moves to goodbye then whatever it is, is gone. I once conducted a scientific experiment with one along with some colleagues. Needless to say I will not use them again. It is just one of those things that is beyond our comprehension.

Ouija Boards are portals to dark souls who only want to torment you. I know from personal experience. You now know so no preaching here. Search for the answers you are seeking within yourself. Ask God to help you. Crappy things happen to everyone, so don't beat yourself up about it. Bad things happen so that we can become spiritual people. God will listen to your requests so, if you feel like to much is being thrown at you at once then say- God this is too much for me at this time and he will listen.
