The Biltmore Company,which owns Biltmore Estate, is owned by the family of William Amherst Vanderbilt Cecil, and includes the Biltmore House and Gardens, Biltmore Estate Wine Company, and Biltmore Estate Reproductions.
The estate is not for sale. It is open to tourists, and is available on a limited basis for weddings and other functions.

The Vanderbilt Estate is not in NC; it's in Newport RI.
You might be thinking of the Biltmore Estate - that is in NC.
