Met my wife thru a video dating service in Denver, Colorado. So the first thing I saw was a picture of her and I was allowed to send this picture of her to my mom with the caption of being my wife, even before I actually met her. I even stood her up on the first date and that was 28 years, 2 adult daughters, 1 son in law and 1 fantastic 17 month old grandson ago

With my significant other, I noticed he had a nice way about it, he didn't come across as male chauvenstic or a jerk to others =). I've been with him now for nine months and he still has a nice way about him =) I've seen him get upset and mad, but in situations that are rightfully deserved. We've grown a lot together since then! He's in a band and I met him that way through friends =) I've met a lot of musicians who are jerks and think they're all that AND a bag of chips.

He was very angry and down on women since he had a cheating wife before. I told him he would meet someone to change his attitude and I hoped to be around to see it. I was. We were married one year later and have been married over 25 years.

he was a friend of a friend at the time. i saw a photo. his curtain hair made me laugh, and i thought he was absurd.
we were forced to chat one day, when our friend left for a job interview. he said no one understood him like i did. i thought he was crazy.
and yet, we've known each other 6 years since that day. and i think he is the most amazing and beautiful boy in the world.
no matter how much time it took to get there.

I did a silly thing, day after meeting her I decided I did not want to know her and refused to answer her texts for about a week, then I changed my mind and went to visit her. It was a bad start but it soon worked out better. It must be the complete opposite to your average couple.

I didn't like him. He was cocky, a little over weight and annoying. But that changed....turns out he was just nervous. I can overlook the physical stuff, 'cause looks aren't that big of a deal to me. It's all about the person inside.

He interviewed me for a job. I noticed he was very polite, and smiled a lot. He did that nodding thing where the interviewer tries to make it look like he's listening but really he's lost in thought....

The first thing that popped into my head was "Oh my...what beautiful eyes she has. Why can't I find a woman that beautiful?"
What I didn't know..was that she was thinking the same thing...oh happy day!
