I definitely pay more attention to my pronunciation when I'm on the phone and sound posh (but I'm soooo not)
My Mum is funny to listen to, she will answer the phone in a posh voice and then all of a sudden "oh alright lorraine" in a proper brummy accent and very loud!

I dont put on a telephone voice but on the telephone people say my voice sounds really deep, but in my opinion i just sound completely queer and camp, after hearing it back on an answering machine one time. it sounds nothing like my real voice at all. its really annoying in a way.

I have an announcer voice that sounds like it is named. I use it on the phone. I have even been able to use it as the voice for a phone menu.

I can be posh on the phone, but the first time my partner heard me talking to my mother on the phone he was stictches, I had reverted back to the slang of my hometown and he didn't understand a single word I'd said

i have to sound posh sometimes my own boyfriend doesnt even recognise me when i am doing my telephone voice

My voice is totally different on the phone, the same as in the camera.

Well my natural voice is deeper & stronger! I love it!
I really don't know how my phone voice can be so different! It sounds like Paris Hilton's voice! I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!

everybody says i have a telephone voice that would melt chocolate whatever that means, i normally sound like i have something stuck in my throat my fella says it;s a fur ball.
