We have a drive in theater that was remodeled and reopened 2 years ago. We also have this vintage shop that sells old records and record players. I live in a fairly small town in central Illinois.

I think around here, the only one that exists is the drive-in food places. They're called Sonic & the food is gooooooood!! Drive in theaters MAY still exist but if so then I'm not sure cause I've never been to one. I've never checked in to see if any place sells a record player cause my Dad still owns a working one & TONS of records. Since that is becoming obsolete though, he's got recording software on his computer, is taking his records & recording the music onto the computer then writing it all to CDs.

Drive in theaters? - yes, there are 2 left near me. I haven't been since I was a kid but they are still there.
A drive-in food place, like the old A & W's?
I can remember going to them when I was little but I haven't seen one in ages. I think there might still be on in Ocean City, MD.
A place that sells record players?
You can buy turntables at good stereo stores still. What's harder to find are the vinyl LPs. Record and Tape Traders around town still have some LPs but if you want to find a really good selection, check out El Suprimo Records in Fells Point.

yep there is a drive-in restaurant just up the street from where I live that has the real 50's look to it and they make their own hamburgers....not like the food places who use frozen factory beef patties.
there is a drive in theater not too far from here and if you mean the old record player where you could put on four or five at a time... they don't make them... but the Source/Radio shack sells one now u can hook to your computer.

No drive in theaters, there's a Sonic about 20 miles from me. I'm not sure on the record players. Possibly some Thrift stores do. I live in Brentwood, California. Not the LA Brentwood, the Northern Brentwood.

No unfortunately. I loved them. When I was growing up we had two drive in theaters in our small town. What great memories. Of course there are A & W's and Sonic's. As for record players I still have several that work. I also still have the first Rolling Stone Albumn and The Bealtes White, Sgt Peppers as well as their first albumn. My treasures.

There's a drive in movie about 45 minutes from me.
We have Sonic drive-ins if that counts.
Plenty of pawn shops still sell record players, so yes.
