I'm an alum of both Knox College and Loyola University. At the latter, I pledged Alpha Sigma Phi.
Fraternities need members to survive, so they hold what is called "rush" events, like open houses, so you can meet members who will "vet" you to see if you are a person they would like to "bring in."
Make sure you look at all of them before you choose. I would suggest you not choose a "hard party" frat so that you won't waste your time and energy which should be best applied to study toward a successful career.

You have to be rushed, meaning that you have to look a certain way and have money. Just walk around campus with a smug look, a popped collar, a Ford Mustang, khaki pants, a college team baseball cap, and your trust-fund check in your hand and you'll be paying for your friends in no time.

remember a good education will get you further than belonging to any particular Fraternity. Choose a good Fraternity and you will enjoy belonging otherwise you may not.

Definition of fraternities: clubs organized by fags who needs more fags in order to gain some status among their peers. To be a member, you need to be a boot-licker, because only fags wear boots.

not all frats. majority of the decent ones you usually do. Just depends on the chapter sometimes and the school you go to.
