You're correct -- the Earth is not millions of years old; the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old.
As for the other planets, as well as the Sun, since they formed out of the same primordial material as the Earth, they are approximately the same age.
And if you already knew the "answer," then why did you ask?

I guess you have proof of this revolutionary fact. And don´t just refer to the bible. That is just lame. "Any extraordinary claim requires extraordinary evidence". This goes for god as well. I can show you a rock and prove it is 2.5 billion years old. What have you got?
Oh, and the planets began forming out of the same nebula at roughly the same time some 4,6 billion years ago. About 100 million years later the process had yielded a solarsystem that very much resembles what we all know and love today. (The process is actually ongoing)

Yeah, the Earth is billions of years old. As for the other planets in our solar system, they probably formed around the same time (give or take a few million years). As for planets in other solar systems, well they can be anything from a few days old to many billions of years old.

No, it's billions of years old. And so are the other planets. They formed at the same time, about 4.5 billion years ago based on radioactive decay of uranium. That's basic science. If you think the bible is more accurate than basic science, you might as well throw away your computer and cell phone and car as well, because science gave you those too. Sorry, you can't pick and choose - well, obviously you can, but it just makes you a hypocrite.

You were just like the character Jethro Bodine [from Beverly Hillbillies] in school weren't ya? 12 years of schooling and made it all the way to the 7th grade. Graduated higher than anyone else in your class...by a good foot and a half.
About the only way to reconcile the debate of the time span and age of the earth and universe is to consider a proven scientific principle: relativistic time dilation. Einstein showed that two different observers could measure the same thing, in this case the duration of time and event took, come up with two different observational measurements and both be totally correct. It has been proven many times that different observers in different frames of reference will come up with different results for the same thing.
So, for those of you that believe, verbatim, everything you read, I would like you to contact me since I have some great waterfront property in Southern Florida for sale that I just know you'd be interested in buying.

I'm only answering this question for points as it's pretty silly. The author of the question offers no proof to back up that claim that the earthe is much younger than carbon dating would lead us to believe. Really, give me a break with the creationism stuff. Or at least save it for the right subject.

interesting that your "fact" is based on a book written 2000 years ago by people who knew almost nothing of science.
instead of trusting the people who have studied science and creation for their whole lives.
besides if the universe started in the big bang and the earth formed 4.5 billion years ago, how does that discount god? it just means he made everything quite some time ago.

They're all about 4.5 billion years old including the earth. If you are a Christian interpreting the Jewish Old Testament, you might want to talk to a Jew and see what they really meant when the book was written and not what your pastor (not a Jew) is feeding you
