That is a very good question, despite what someone else response. I think if you are married give 100%. giving 100% dosent mean be stupid and ignore signs
if you have suspicions ask questions
but hopefully by the time you marry someone you will have an idea of how much you can trust him/her. in any event we are all humans and as such we are capable of mistakes so give your all but don't be silly...always listen to your gut response if it says be supicios then...

That's difficult - if you give 100%, but do not get that in return, you are hurt. In reverse - if you don't give 100% and the other person is - they are hurt.
What is most important is honesty & respect. When it ocmes to trust, it is always given 100% upfront until someone has done something to break it, then it is never 100% again and must be earned back.
If you in a new relationship where you are determining if you should open your heart to the possibility of being hurt again. Take a good solid look at why - are you hesitant because of a previous relationship that went bad or are you guarded because of somehting this current person is doing.
Just make sure you are being honest with yourself & never settling for less then what you are worth!

Give it all! 100%! I agree with many of the answers here that tell you to do the same. Love is worth it, and its the best thing to happen in a lifetime. Even if you are screwed over, you at least gave it everything and the next relationship you can go for the money!!! You only live once, go for it! Its a joy like no other and you'll be glad you had it!

You are suppose to love someone 100% but I did that and got kicked in the teeth so don't think I will fall for that again.

In marriage you should give 100%. If you feel the need to be guarded maybe you need marriage counseling to deal with trust issues.

Loving someone 100% does not need to involve being unguarded. You can still be aware of what's going on and protect yourself while deeply in love.

It depends on the person your with but if you live guarded i dont think you will ever be truely happy because your not giving it your all. Their will always be those uncomfortable moments of insecurity cuz you will not know if you trust the person. Like i said it depends on who your with what you feel.

I tried giving it all to one of my girlfriends, I tell you what happened she carved out my heart and left me in a parking lot. Technically it depends if you truly love that person and are committed to them.
