I'm really surprised the top contributors are so lame. Top of the **** is about all. No real thought put into those answers. Keep up the top contributions.

An answer like OMG...'s that is well written, answers the question at hand, and is devoid of personal opinion is likely to win best answer.

No far, I think I like the answer "mhiaa" provided. "OMG..." still has directly answered the question the best. "airm8rix" came close to achieving good marks, but stated that "entertainment value is all you get from a horoscope".

I dare all of the people claiming there is no scientific evidence of Horoscope accuracy to put that to a scientific test before making the statement again. If what they believe is true, then Horoscopes should be falsifiable, and they are not, ergo, there must be some degree of accuracy that can be obtained from them. I know, I have a scientific, objective mind.

From what I've seen, researched, been told, it's because they're afraid of lawsuits, etc. Many have wanted a pro section; real astrolgy, and not the: will an Aries and a Leo fall in love happily ever after type stuff. I agree with ya. There should be horoscopes for entertainment, and a separate section for astrologers/astrology.

They put it under E&M because they don't think it has any value other than as an amusement. The people at Y!A don't take astrology or any other form of divination seriously since there is no scientific proof to back it up.

What's happening with you Rhio? You changed...your mind? Or is that irony?

Astrology could go aside of mythology and philosophy, if we stripped it down to a really useless knowledge base!

However, "Horoscopes" might sound too caricatural, and as a domain of activity, might be way too much polluted by hot mamas to be taken seriously by those who lack of a sense of humor and humility.

Because they don't want to be held liable for any silly thing that the horoscope claims because let's face it, entertainment value is all you get from a horoscope.

Horoscopes has always been listed for entertainment purposes only and that is why Yahoo's category for horoscopes is under entertainment.

Good question. But most people are too dense...they dont understand astrology's depth and true accuracy. It's ok, i dont want them to know our secret anyway.

I think Yahoo! should have started a new top-level category, "Useless stuff". That would be a perfect place for horoscopes...
