John, I love to hug my 17 year old daughter, but she´s a teenie now, so the hugs happen less.
I love to bake a load of chocolate chip cookies with walnuts, brown sugar, vanilla flavoring and a squirt of lemon juice, give loads of them away to friends and neighbor´s children, and have them ask me when I will be making more.
I love to watch how pumpkin seeds yield tiny green sproutlings, then emerge into these huge orange creations by October.
Love to watch the herbs, basil, dill , and thyme grow in the same area...hmmmm...and the scent...paradise!
Love to get my thoughts down in a journal.
Love to see two swans soaring over canal water completely synchronized.
I always marvel at how simply a smile beckons another person to smile and then the most simple face becomes beautiful.
Love to destone mirabellas and make a pie.
Love to see how the wind coaxes the trees to massage each others branches and leaves
I like to swim backwards in the pool and feel the weightlessness of my body.
I love to smell the Austin Darby pink rose.
And nothing quite beats the faces of children when they are happily surprised.
I look forward to seeing my nieces soon.
I look forward to seeing our daughter become all that she can be.
I love to help overweight German teen-agers drop their inhibitions, and learn a bit of hip hop choreography while working up a sweat and laughing.
I am enjoying writing my book.
I look forward to turning 50 next month.
I love to look at the colors orange, apricot and light lavender.
I love to hold clay in my hand and then mold it into a piece of art.
I love to sing so that people are touched...until they get goosebumps....

John, when you know it is time to let go, feel your freedom and soar.
Believe me. I understand.

The universe did not come from nothing. It came from GOD
Same as you. And will go back when it leaves this plain.

I see what GOD has created in trees and mountains, animals, etc. It is all wonderful. I could not compare the Alps in Italy to the black hills of Japan, or the endless sands of the Sahara to the outback of Australia.
Likewise, I could not compare my present wife to my first (bless her soul). What is Best? So many flavors, So many times. What I love the most is that GOD is willing for us to continue with him yet again. That death does not have to be our end. And that we can transcend this world.
Since there are no mountains in Florida, I suspect your honesty, But if you need to know what is important in life,This is my view.
After reviewing your stats, You seem to have a few issues, not the least of, is a depressive nature. You might consider speaking with a counselor or a therapist.

I lost a daughter a few years ago to cancer and while she was ill I was struggling with accepting the coming loss of my 10 year old child.
She told me one day that She was not too young to die. Mommy" some people have only 20 minutes to live. It is their whole life. I have had ten years to get it right."
She said she did not want to be forgotten and that it was important to her that she make good memories for those she was leaving. Humour was her biggest gift. She made us laugh. She made us smile . Twenty years later she is still doing that, telling her story and making us smile.

I can think of nothing more wonderful than sharing my last experiences on this side with family and friends.

To scale a Florida mountain one would have to go to Disneyland. Seriously to see the successes and evolution of younger generations taking over the reigns with more skill than the older generation makes me happy about the future.

Have them play the last track from the "Return of the King" CD at your funeral. It is called "Into the West" sung by Annie Lennox. We all die, it's how we go, die with dignity and respect for all that is.

I most value interpersonal relationships. Nothing makes me happier than to become closer to someone else, or to help someone become closer to a friend of theirs. I'm a very cynical person- I hate women and men equally- and I've had a troubled past, but there's a couple of people who I wouldn't mind sitting out in the rain with and snuggling. One day I hope to either be a full time jazz singer, or a linguistics teacher. (Varied, huh?) For fun, I research chemistry and look up antiquated words to put them into my vocabulary. I smoke cigarettes, and I've tried my fair amount of illegal substances. All in all, I think I've had a fairly good life. : )

How could anyone possibly answer that? I love my children and would that would be my main concearn, what happens to them with out me here to watch over them. I wish I had some wonderful thing to say to you, I wonder to myself-do you have children? a wife? your embarking on the last true mystery, good luck to you. I know it seems strange to say but it is those close to you that need the comfort, they will have to go on with nothing but your memory. Us humans, we love you.

~~~ I sure hope you don't get snowed in. You almost had me snowed for a minute there. Maybe it's the drugs. Tell your doctor to decrease your meds. Good luck. Remember....it's all about one day at a time. ~~~
