Short answer is they are a better team this year, and check your facts gunner because correct me if I'm wrong but i believe that since the Red Sox won the World Series Last that the Yankees haven't done a thing. The Red Sox are better Managed, have a better starting rotation, better bullpen, and unlike the Yankees with a couple "stars" in their lineup all of the Red Sox hitters are doing well and come in clutch when they have to. Arod can hit all the home runs he wants but when the Yankees lose it doest do them any good. Finally the last difference is that the Red Sox go to every game wanting to win and the Yankees show up thinking they should win but yet don't.

The Red Sox are playing so well because good pitching beats good hitting. I HATE the Red Sox, but I must admit that Theo Epstein, General Manager of the Red Sox, is the BEST GM in Baseball. My beloved Yankees are a disgraceful mess because of the terrible job the GM of NY has done. Brian Cashman is not capable of signing good pitching, and this is the downfall of the Yankees. The Red Sox deserve the success even though it kills me to admit it.

No, the Red Sox still suck. The Yankees have dominated for the past decade. Anyways, it's to early to count the Yankees out. They have a few things to work on, but I know they can get their stuff together and be the Yankees that I know and love. Besides nobody has locked anything up yet.

Well first of all go back to grade school and work on your grammer. No to answer you question the Yankess have been decimated by injury this season. Plus it is still a little early to count the Yankees out, as Yogi once said you are not out of it until you have been mathematically elimated and guess what the Yankees have not been mathematically eliminated, and the Red Sox have not mathematically locked anything up yet!

Let's see because the can hit better then the yankees espicially since damon, giambi, and cano are struggling. The boston redsox might have the best starting rotation in the league when healthy and the yankees have started the most rookies to this point in the season at starting pitching in mlb history.

Hey Rob, I agree! Don't you think the Yankee fans sound like the Red Sox of old? With all their whining and excuses? Next thing they are going to say is "wait till next year"! hehehe..

Right now the Sox have the best Bullpen in the game.

The Yanks bullpen has suffered because Joe Torre does not know how to manage pitchers.
He's abused them all season long...and he doesn't let his Starting 5 go deep into games...and then pulls the starter at the wrong time.

pitching! The Yankmes are throwing every arm they have out there and most of those arms are not ready for the Show. That is the main thing! Think about this, A-Rod actually deserves an ALL-STAR vote this yr, not a popularity contest, Jeter is an ALL-STAR again, Posada is a hit maching this season, so you would think that would suffice! It normally would, but they have no pitching! And I am happy to see it! PLus they need to ditch some of the age they have on that team! That will catch up eventually with them!

Pitching. And the Red Sox do generally put a lot of hits up every game. . . Big series this weekend, we'll see!

Better pitching, better and more timely hitting, they play as a TEAM, better defense. Thus they leave the Yankees in the dust where they will remain until and unless they start to realize they need to rebuild and to unload so many of their over paid prima donnas.

Chow!!
