If you are being serious....then I would ask myself a very important question. Do you really want the truth? Is the baby you have with you now the baby you love and want to raise? There are mistakes made in hospitals. You may have brought home a child you did not give birth to. You can have a DNA test done. If you are certain that she is your child, then relax....all kinds of features can skip one or two generations and then resurface in a child. Enjoy her complexion and love her for all that she is and has.

I would look into you and your husbands family tree for the answer. Someone along the way had some color in thier skin and sound like your daughter has picked up that gene.

You could have DNA tests done on your child and husband. What would you do if you were to find out there's not a match with your husband? Could you give up the child? Sue the hospital? There's a lot to think about.

check out your ancestors and your husband and most likely she favorite one of them in the color of there skin.

brown pigmentation and brown eyes are dominant genes. if you both carry such genes, the chances are that your child will have such characteristics.
